The Hamline Thrive Team invites faculty, staff, and students to take pictures of their favorite old things, tell their story, and post on social media using #ThisThingStillWorks. Photobooths will be available on campus in April. During Earth Month this year, the group, which focuses on issues of sustainability, will share things on social media that still work despite their age, hardships they’ve suffered, and the possibility of shiny new replacements that would have a high-impact on the environment and people. Follow the feed on Instagram @hamlinesustainability or on Facebook: Hamline Sustainability - Thrives. Photobooths will be available for documenting things that you have managed to enjoy for a long time:
This crowd-sourced, participatory celebration of objects that last and work for years, brought to you by the Hamline Thrive Team, is a central part of the way the group will explore Hamline Sustainability Earth Month this year. Show up at one of the above events or write to sustainability@hamline.edu to get involved. |
